Where is the best place to park a car close to the accommodation?

Parking on the street can be quite pricey at €7 per hour. It's recommended to use the P&R facility at RAI for a more affordable rate of €2 per day. Public transport is conveniently available from there.
What's the earliest possibility to check in if we arrive before the standard check-in time?
